Here we are in the dead of summer and like many of you, we still have fiber art on the brain non stop! Summer is great, but we’re starting to daydream of the shifting seasons, complete with crisp air, transforming leaves and pumpkin spice everything.
To get a jump start on our fall fiber frenzy, we turned to the Interweave Store for project inspiration. We searched high and low for projects that made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and now we’re officially ready to say hello to fall!
Discover Our Favorite Fall-Inspired Patterns From Interweave.
We did mention our love affair with all things pumpkin spice, right? The rich shades of this crochet skirt made us ooh and aah the moment we laid eyes on it, but it’s not just a fall piece. You could style this with a breezy tank for the late summer months, too!
The unique wrap detail of this sweet sweater made us fall head-over-crochet instantly! We would love to add this over our favorite summer dresses to make them fall-appropriate. Don’t forget the boots and latte!
Humans aren’t the only ones who like to stay cozy in the fall. Little pups need to stay warm, too! We think a hand-knit sweater for a precious pooch would be the perfect birthday or holiday present for any of your dog-loving friends or family. Even better, create the matching mitts for yourself so you and your four-legged friend can be style twins!
We’ve featured beloved scarves on the blog before, but we’ve never featured a MEGA scarf! This scarf serves multiple purposes as both a fashion statement, and as a makeshift blanket when unexpected chills strike. The intricate lattice lace-and-cable pattern adds serious impact to this fall must-have. If you live in a chillier climate, we suggest starting to knit your mega scarf right away!
What is fall without a great pair of socks? And we’re not talking about socks you want to cram into your shoes and hide. We’re talking about beautifully detailed socks that are begging to peek out from a pair of ankle booties. These neutral darlings will complement a fall color palette beautifully!
Are you dying to make one of the patterns above, but need to learn the skills before diving in? Mark you calendar for Interweave Yarn Fest happening April 12 – 15, 2018! Our varieties of workshops allow fiber artists of all skill levels and interests to learn the technique know-how they want.
